Beautiful flowers, shot on expired film in Chicago, IL
St. Louis Gateway Arch, shot on expired film

yes, film expires!

If you are unsure of what I am talking about... Okay, that is fair. Here is the Wiki link to analogue photography

Anyway, I bought this 35mm roll of film for $8 somewhere in western Michigan. The camera store employee said the person who dropped off the film guestimates around 1960 for the expiration of the rolls. No idea how accurate that is, but I sure do love the results. Which one is your favorite?

Every roll of film is made to be shot at a set ISO. The word on the street is, some expired rolls have better results shooting higher or lower than the box speed. I didn't do that this time.

I really hope you enjoyed this blog post, it was my first! If you are a fellow photographer, I hope you find the chance to shoot some expired film.
